Variety description

10 August 2026

The MJR 17 hybrid is the result of crossing Juglans major and Juglans regia species. In agronomic practice, such breeding forms are developed as rootstocks for commercial walnut cultivation.

This clone is characterized by rapid growth. Detailed morphological indicators, maturity parameters, and quantitative data on disease resistance are absent in publications, as breeding trials for this type of plant are focused on scion compatibility and soil adaptation.
