The variety was developed through selection from natural populations. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor. The start of vegetation occurs in late April, which reduces the risk of damage from late spring frosts, and the vegetation period ends 15–20 days earlier than that of the Šeinovo variety.

The fruits have an average weight of about 14 g, a light-colored kernel, and a high kernel percentage. The variety has satisfactory resistance to diseases and pests. Due to the high content of flavonoids and polyphenolic compounds, the fruits are suitable for the production of liqueurs.
