Variety description
10 August 2026
The variety forms a dense cone-shaped crown with vertically directed shoots. The plant is slow-growing, reaching a height of 1.8–2 meters by 10 years of age, and an adult specimen rarely grows taller than 2.5–3 meters.
The needles are stiff, needle-like, and have a bluish-green hue, which changes to steel or gray-blue during the winter period. The variety is winter-hardy, drought-tolerant, and has a requirement for soil drainage.
The plant is suitable for use in rock gardens, heather gardens, and as part of hedges. In case of water stagnation or insufficient light, disease infection is possible, accompanied by darkening and dieback of shoots.
