Variety description

The plant has a flat, regular crown with spreading branches, the ends of which turn upward. At 10 years of age, the bush height is 0.3–0.4 m with a diameter of 1.0–1.2 m. The growth rate is moderate, about 10–15 cm per year.
The needles are needle-like and prickly. Young spring growth is colored cream-yellow; later, the needles turn light green with silvery tones, and in the autumn-winter period, they may acquire bronze or copper shades.
The variety prefers sunny locations and well-drained fertile soils; it does not tolerate water stagnation. Winter hardiness is rated as high (zone 6a). It is used in group plantings, rock gardens, and standard culture.
