Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 70–100 cm at ten years of age, up to 2 meters, with a width of about 1 meter. The needles are evergreen; young shoots have a characteristic lemon shade that contrasts with the glaucous or dark green mature needles.
The variety is winter-hardy (withstanding temperatures down to -15…-20°C and lower). The plant adapts well to most soil types, provided there is high-quality drainage, and requires no complex maintenance.
It is used in ornamental gardening for rock gardens, stony gardens, container landscaping, and the creation of borders and group plantings.
