Variety description

The variety is a natural dwarf with a squat, prostrate or flat crown shape. The needles have a characteristic silvery-blue hue. At the age of 20, the plant reaches a height of about 1 meter.
The plant possesses winter hardiness down to -28°C, and is resistant to drought and winter sun exposure. It is used in landscaping as a compact ornamental shrub. The species classification of the variety varies in different sources between Juniperus virginiana and Juniperus × media.
