The plant belongs to the species Kalanchoe manginii, also known by the synonym Bryophyllum manginii. It is a perennial succulent, the natural habitat of which is Madagascar.
Morphologically, the variety is characterized as a small plant 30–40 cm in height with semi-lignified arching stems. During the spring period, the variety produces pendulous bell-shaped flowers.
