Variety description
10 August 2026
The plant is a deciduous shrub with green rod-like shoots that maintain an ornamental appearance during the winter period. The height of the bush is usually 1.5–2 meters, rarely reaching 3 meters. It is characterized by spring flowering with golden-yellow flowers.
The cultivar possesses good winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 4–9. The shrub is shade-tolerant; in full sun, the flowers are prone to fading. Due to the brittleness of the branches, the plant requires planting in locations protected from strong winds. The species may be susceptible to shoot dieback.
In ornamental gardening, the cultivar is used as a specimen plant, for forming free-growing hedges, and in various landscape compositions.
