Variety description

The variety is a natural mutation of the original species. A characteristic feature is the leaves with a dark green center and an irregular creamy-white margin, the shape of which varies from lanceolate to ovate with serrated edges. The dark burgundy-hued flowers are gathered in inflorescences typical of the genus Knautia.
The plant forms a compact bush, the width of which is comparable to its height. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness (USDA zones 4–8) and drought tolerance once established. Its use is recommended for edging flower beds, rock gardens, and natural-style gardens due to its ability to attract pollinators.
