The plant belongs to the Batavia type and does not form a dense head. The leaves possess a bright red color, a pleasant texture, and an aromatic taste with a slight bitterness.

The variety possesses high resistance to bolting, downy mildew (Bremia lactucae), and tipburn. It is an open-pollinated variety suitable for professional and amateur cultivation.

For seed germination, a temperature of 15–18 °C is recommended. In greenhouses, the optimal planting density is about 16 plants per m² with a spacing of 25 × 25 cm; in the open field, 11–12 plants per m² with a spacing of 30 × 30 cm.
