The plant forms large, compact heads weighing up to 1 kg. The leaves of a light-green or yellow-green shade have a blistered-folded surface and a crisp consistency. In some descriptions, the variety is characterized as butterhead, however, it is most often classified as the iceberg type.

The variety is distinguished by slowed bolting and resistance to four races of downy mildew. Intended for cultivation in open field, film greenhouses, and cold frames during the spring, summer, and autumn periods.
