The variety is classified as head lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. capitata), although in some documents it is mentioned as belonging to the leaf type. Morphologically, the variety is similar to the Laravera, Kumak, and Papiro types.

The plant has a closed type of medium-sized head formation. The leaves have slight blistering, distinct dissection of the apical margin, and fan-shaped venation.
