The Albenitez variety belongs to the Little Gem type and is characterized by the ability to form dense, rapidly filling heads of stable weight. The plant has an upright growth habit, which ensures the compactness of the crop.

The variety is adapted for winter production and possesses a complex of resistances to diseases. It has high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:29-41EU), currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0), and tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1).
