The Alcazaba variety belongs to the Little Gem type and forms dark green heads, with size and shape suitable for packaging. The produce is intended for sale on the fresh market and is characterized by high tolerance to tip burn.
The plant is suitable for cultivation in open field, greenhouses, and hydroponics; harvesting is possible in the spring and autumn periods. The variety has high resistance to downy mildew races Bl:29–36, 38–41EU and Bl:1–9US, as well as to lettuce aphid Nr:0. It has intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus LMV:1 and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.
