Alicita belongs to the red oak leaf lettuce type with a characteristic cherry-red color. The plant has an upright habit, which simplifies harvesting, and is characterized by stable uniformity of leaf size.
The variety has high resistance to downy mildew races Bl: 29–40EU and lettuce aphid Nr: 0, as well as intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt Fol: 1. Intended for cultivation in protected and open ground, particularly effective in the winter period and off-season. Used for the production of lettuce products, including the baby leaf segment.
