The variety is a Romano type lettuce with an open heart (Open Heart Cos). The plant is characterized by an upright habit, a strong central vein, and long, crisp leaves with a dense structure, allowing it to be used for mechanical harvesting and industrial processing.
The use of Knox™ technology slows down the oxidation and browning of leaf cuts, extending the shelf life of the produce. The variety is suitable for cultivation in the open field from spring to autumn in cool climates or from autumn to spring in warm regions.
The variety has high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:29-37, 39-41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race Nr:0). It also shows high resistance to internal and external marginal leaf burn.
