The variety forms uniform, large heads with an upright or semi-upright leaf arrangement. The leaves are distinguished by a dense structure, which ensures a high weight of the finished product. The plant possesses high growth vigor and resistance to bolting.
Azaronas RZ possesses complex resistance to lettuce powdery mildew (races Bl:29-38, 40, 41EU), Fusarium wilt (race 4), lettuce aphid Nasonovia ribisnigri (race 0), and downy mildew. The variety is intended both for fresh market sale and for industrial processing, including the production of fresh-cut products.
