The plant belongs to the Lollo/Batavia type and is distinguished by a bright cherry color that persists over the entire leaf surface, including the lower part of the petiole. The leaves have increased thickness, which improves their shelf life during transport and processing. The upright shape of the head facilitates harvesting and increases marketable weight.
The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field throughout the entire season. It possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 29–41EU), Fusarium wilt (races Fol: 1, 4), aphids (race Nr: 0), and lettuce big vein virus. Suitable for sale on the fresh market and for use in salad mixes.
