The plant belongs to the "red oak leaf" type with deeply lobed leaves, colored from bright green in the center to deep plum-red at the tips. The bush shape is upright, and leaf texture is glossy. The variety is intended for year-round cultivation in protected and open field conditions, demonstrating stability under various temperature conditions.
Salanova technology ensures easy separation of the plant into many individual leaves with a single cut of the base. The Knox trait slows down the pinking process of cut surfaces, which increases shelf life. Sturdy leaves tolerate industrial washing and drying well, and a minimal number of large outer leaves increases the yield of marketable produce.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:16-37EU, 29-37, 39-41), currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0), and lettuce root aphid (Pb). Intermediate resistance is recorded to Fusarium wilt (Fol:1).
