The plant belongs to the Butterhead type, forming a voluminous, heavy, and dense "covered" head. The optimal weight at harvest is about 300 g. The variety is intended for cultivation in the spring and autumn seasons and possesses good resistance to bolting.
The variety is characterized by high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:29–41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race Nr:0). It also possesses intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1).
The produce is suitable for sale as whole heads and for processing in the ready-to-eat washed salad segment. Positioned as an alternative to the Takoda variety for the corresponding harvest periods.
