The variety belongs to the iceberg type and possesses high plasticity. The heads are distinguished by good uniformity and base quality. The plant exhibits resistance to tip-burn and is adapted for cultivation under late autumn conditions.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races 29–37, 39, 40, 41 EU. Intermediate resistance (IR) to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lactucae, race 4) and lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) is also noted.
