The variety belongs to the Romaine type. The plant forms dark green leaves with an open center. The seeds are white in color.
A distinctive feature of the produce is the delayed pinking of tissues after processing and cutting. The variety is intended for open field cultivation from spring through autumn.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 16–32, 34, 36 EU) and lettuce aphid (biotype Nr:0).
