The variety belongs to the Batavia type and forms semi-open rosettes of a compact shape with wide leaf blades of a light green color. The plant has a well-developed base and is distinguished by high productivity with the formation of dense and heavy rosettes.
The variety is adapted for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation in the spring-summer period. It is distinguished by high resistance to bolting.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races 29, 30, 33–35, 37, 38, 40, 41), Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lactucae, race 1) and currant-lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race 0).
