The variety belongs to the Batavia type and is intended for cultivation in protected soil. Plants have uniform growth, stable head formation, flexible leaves, and a vertical growth habit. The leaves are characterized as true red, with an intense dark cherry hue, pleasant taste, and crunchy structure.
The plant has a wide harvest window and is a short-day crop. The variety has high resistance to a number of races of downy mildew (Bl: 16–35, 37EU, 40–41EU), lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, Nr:0), and lettuce mosaic virus (LMV).
