The variety belongs to the leaf type. Morphologically, it forms an attractive large rosette in which the leaves are loosely arranged.
It differs from the Waldmanns Green variety by a more intense deep green color of the leaves and earlier maturity dates. The variety is characterized by resistance to downy mildew and is intended for cultivation for the fresh market.
