The variety is a Lollo Rossa (curly) type leaf lettuce with an intense red leaf color and good structure. It is intended for cultivation in the baby leaf segment, which implies harvesting at early stages of growth.
The plant is distinguished by very rapid development. It possesses resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:1-28EU) and currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0). The variety is used primarily for the production of salad mixes.
