The plant belongs to the non-heading type, distinguished by a developed open heart and shiny, short leaves of a light color. The variety is intended primarily for cultivation during the summer period and early autumn in open field conditions.

The variety possesses high resistance to bolting. The plant is characterized by high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:16–24, 27, 30–32EU) and intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1).
