The variety is a butterhead lettuce of the Salanova (Multi-leaf) series, distinguished by the presence of a large number of leaves of approximately the same size. The plant has intensely green glossy leaves, a rounded rosette, and a more upright habit than classic varieties of this type.
The variety is suitable for year-round cultivation in open field, protected cultivation, and hydroponic systems. It is characterized by slow heart formation, resistance to bolting, tipburn, and the formation of double heads. The leaves are firm and suitable for the production of whole heads, baby-leaf products, or 'Salatrio' sets.
It possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races Bl:29-41EU, lettuce root aphid (Pemphigus bursarius), and Fusarium wilt (Fol:1).
