A compact type plant with a small stem, forming a rosette of green glossy curly leaves. The average weight of one specimen is from 250 to 400 g. The variety is intended for obtaining marketable produce in the summer period when grown in open field conditions.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races 16–37EU) and aphids (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race 0). It also has intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum, races 1 and 4) and lettuce mosaic virus (LMV, strain 1). It is characterized by tolerance to bolting and tip burn.
