The Ice Celtic hybrid is an early-maturing plant with a growing period of 41–43 to 45–55 days from the moment of transplanting. The plant forms medium or large-sized heads that have a round-flat shape and a dense structure of neatly arranged light green leaves.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, lettuce aphid, as well as internal necrosis and tip burn. The hybrid's plasticity allows it to successfully tolerate temperature fluctuations characteristic of the spring period.
The produce is intended for sale in the fresh market and industrial processing into mixes. The heads possess high uniformity and market quality, and are well-adapted for transportation.
