The variety belongs to the Little Gem type, differing from other members of the group by a larger habitus and greater plant height. During tests in the 1990s, the marketable weight of heads ranged from 150 to 170 grams, with a significant variation in weight noted between individual plants.
As part of variety trials, the susceptibility to downy mildew was evaluated; however, data on high genetic resistance to specific diseases have not been recorded.
