Variety description

The plant forms dense, dark green, broad leaves that are resistant to curling. Due to the rosette shape, the variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting and sale both as whole heads and in cut form.
The hybrid is adapted to summer growing conditions and possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew Bremia lactucae (races Bl:29–37, 39–41EU) and lettuce aphid Nasanovia ribisnigri (Nr:0). Intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus and Rhizoctonia solani is also noted.
A feature of the variety is a tendency for petiole cuts to oxidize. In specialized sources, the variety is also designated by the code 41-593.
