The variety belongs to the Batavia type. The plant forms a compact rosette with good volume. The leaves are light green, glossy, highly curled, slightly blistered, and flexible. The variety is distinguished by a strong structure, which simplifies its transportation and cutting.
The plant is adapted to short-day conditions (late autumn, early spring) and also develops well as day length increases. It can be grown in the open field and protected cultivation, as well as in hydroponics.
The variety possesses high resistance to lettuce downy mildew (races Bl:16–32, 34, 36EU) and lettuce aphid (race Nr:0). It is also characterized by resistance to leaf tip burn (Tip Burn).
