The variety is characterized by a dark red color and a pronounced 3D leaf structure. The plant is suitable for year-round cultivation both in the open field and under plastic tunnels.
Lennita II is an improved version of the Lennita variety with increased resistance to downy mildew. The variety has resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl: 29–41EU), Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lactucae, race 1), and currant-lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race 0).
