Variety description

Limeira is a mid-maturing Lollo bionda type leaf lettuce. The plant forms a large semi-erect rosette 16–25 cm in height with curly light green or green leaves. The base of the rosette is cone-shaped, which facilitates packaging.
The variety is characterized by rapid growth, high yield, and a long harvest window. It is resistant to downy mildew (races Bl:29–39EU), Fusarium wilt (Fol:4, IR:Fol:1), tip burn, internal necrosis, and bolting.
Intended for cultivation in film greenhouses and hydroponics, including in the autumn-winter-spring period with additional lighting. Used for sale as whole heads or as part of salad mixes.
