The plant forms a dark red rosette with succulent, flexible leaves that have a 3D structure and a strong closed base. The variety is characterized by a medium or fast growth rate and high resistance to bolting.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races Bl:29–36, 38–41EU and intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1). High tolerance to tip burn is also noted.
Suitable for cultivation in open field, protected cultivation, and hydroponic systems. The strong leaves facilitate mechanized harvesting and packaging, making the variety in demand for the production of whole heads and for use in leaf mixes.
