The variety is intended for industrial use, in particular for the production of packaged salad mixes, which is ensured by the high processability of the produce. The plant forms a large rosette with a slow filling process, which is convenient for planning harvest stages.
Lorquinas RZ possesses genetic resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) to races Bl: 1-28. Resistance to the occurrence of pink leaf ribs is also stated.
