The variety is open-pollinated and suitable for seed saving. The plant develops rapidly, forming dense, compact heads of medium weight with a well-closed base. Leaves are light green, tender, slightly blistered, with a mild taste and a nutty aftertaste.
The plant possesses high resistance to bolting. The rosette height is about 25 cm. Successful cultivation requires humus-rich, moist soil and a sunny location. Seeds are light-sensitive and require shallow sowing; germination may decrease at temperatures above 20–22°C. The recommended planting density is 25x25 cm or 30x30 cm.
