Luceris belongs to the Butterhead lettuce type. The plant forms compact, dense, medium-sized heads weighing from 400 to 700 grams. The leaves have a light-green or medium-green color and possess a tender yet firm structure, which ensures uniform head filling.
The variety is intended for cultivation in open field throughout the entire season, including the summer period, as it tolerates high temperatures well. It possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:16–41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus. The variety exhibits good resistance to tip burn and bolting.
