The variety belongs to the mini-romaine (Mini Romana / Little Gem) category and is intended for professional cultivation in open field and other cultivation systems. The plant forms compact, vertically oriented heads adapted for commercial production.
The variety possesses a high degree of resistance (HR) to powdery mildew, as well as to a wide spectrum of downy mildew Bremia lactucae races (races BI: 29–39 EU).
