The variety is an oak leaf lettuce with intense dark red leaf coloration. The plant forms a rounded, slightly open rosette with a flat and well-closed base.

The variety is intended for cultivation throughout the season in open field. Due to the pronounced red leaf color, it is used for preparing salad mixes in combination with green oak leaf varieties.
