The variety belongs to the Batavia type, characterized by the formation of a rosette with curly leaves, combining features of leaf and head lettuces. Depending on growing conditions, the plant can form either a closed head or remain more open.
The variety is intended for cultivation in protected soil conditions; in particular, it is recommended for autumn-winter cropping. In official documentation, the variety is also listed under the breeding number 80-46 RZ.
