The Madrilène variety belongs to the butterhead lettuce category and forms dense, slightly elongated or compact heads. Its leaves are characterized by thickness and the presence of slight blistering (blistered surface).
This variety is mid-early and is valued for the absence of bitterness in fresh leaves. Due to its adaptation to high temperatures and arid conditions, it is suitable for cultivation in hot climates, as well as during the autumn-winter period.
