The variety possesses resistance to stress factors, delayed bolting, and powdery mildew (Bremia lactucae races Bl:29-36, 38-40 EU). Mezquite is suitable for cultivation in open and protected ground during the spring, summer, and autumn periods, being a universal variety for professional production.
