The variety forms bright red leaves with a moderate texture. The plants are characterized by good uniformity and a moderate growth rate; the variety is intended for cultivation in the open field.

Possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:29-41EU, Bl:7-10US) and lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, race Nr:0). Intermediate resistance (IR) is noted to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1).
