The Oaker variety belongs to the var. acephala group and is a decorative lettuce with green leaves. The period from sowing to harvest is 4–6 weeks. The plant is intended for cultivation both in the open field and in protected cultivation (greenhouses, hotbeds).
The variety demonstrates resistance to downy mildew (races 1–13 and 15–25) and to premature bolting. When harvesting by cutting individual leaves, it is recommended to leave the inner part of the rosette for further regrowth.
