Otis F1 Batavia-type lettuce is characterized by a light leaf color and an erect rosette habit, which contributes to better aeration of the lower part of the plant and prevention of rotting. The hybrid demonstrates high growth vigor at low temperatures.
The plant possesses high resistance to lettuce downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl: 16–35, 29–35, 37–38, 40 EU) and lettuce necrotic leaf curl virus (LNRV+). The hybrid is intended for professional production, including cultivation in unheated greenhouses during the winter period.
