The Batavia-type plant is characterized by a vigorous open rosette of light green leaves with wavy margins and a crisp texture. The weight of a marketable rosette varies from 180–220 g to 350–500 g depending on growing conditions. The variety possesses a powerful root system.
The variety is resistant to downy mildew (races Bl:16–36EU, 39–40EU), lettuce aphid, tip burn, lettuce mosaic virus, and Fusarium wilt. It is distinguished by high resistance to bolting and adaptability to environmental conditions, including hot periods.
Intended for year-round cultivation in open and protected ground, including hydroponic systems and vertical farms. Suitable for the fresh market and use in salad mixes.
