The plant forms a loose semi-head or compact, dense heads. Leaves are light green, wavy or curly. Publications contain contradictory data regarding whether the variety belongs to the 'Grand Rapids' or 'Mini-Romaine' type.
The vegetation period is 40–60 days. The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew (Bl: 16–33EU), lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and tip burn, and also shows tolerance to high temperatures.
