The variety forms medium-sized heads with flat, breakage-resistant petioles. The closed base facilitates the harvesting and packaging process, which allows for the product to be sold as small lettuce hearts, often in packs of two.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 29–37, 39–41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nr: 0). It exhibits intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and fusarium wilt (Fol: 1), and is also characterized by high resistance to leaf tip burn and bolting.
